UK Utilities Company – ERP Transformation

Supported a complex SAP S/4HANA transformation across multiple divisions  ensuring ERP adoption, training 400+ staff, and embedding readiness for go-live.

The Context:

A major UK utilities provider launched the BOOST programme - a £multi-million transformation to implement SAP S/4HANA and redesign the finance operating model across all divisions. But siloed operations, skill gaps, and legacy process variation threatened progress. With over 400 employees to transition and complex regulatory requirements to meet, the business needed credible delivery leadership - not just technical support.

Our Role & Approach:

We delivered a cross-cutting programme health check, validating governance, sequencing, and business readiness

Led the design and rollout of change strategies across multiple business units, aligning new ways of working with operational needs

Built and delivered a full training programme for 400+ employees, covering role-based system use, process change, and support access

Designed and deployed an automated dashboard to track BAU readiness across functions and locations

Created robust data migration frameworks - ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards and audit requirements

The Result

  • 100% BAU readiness achieved by go-live – tracked and verified through automated tooling

  • Regulatory-grade data migration delivered on time and without breach

  • Over 400 users trained and transitioned, with zero material disruption to operations

  • Unified approach to adoption established across all divisions - replacing previous fragmentation
