IGS Secure Confirms Attendance at the SIO Conference 2026
IGS Secure is pleased to announce that we will be attending this year's National Conference for Senior Investigating Officers, taking place from 2nd to 4th November 2026 at the Queens Hotel, Leeds. Now in its 23rd year, the conference brings together Senior Investigating Officers, Strategic Investigators (PIP4) and PIP4 Advisors from across UK policing to explore this year's theme, "Navigating the Layers of Investigative Leadership Within Complex Crime Investigations."
Why we’re attending
The SIO Conference is one of the most important dates in our calendar. It brings together the people who lead and manage complex, high profile and high risk investigations across UK policing, and gives us the chance to hear directly from them about the challenges they face and the support they need.
For IGS Secure, this event is about three things:
Strengthening existing relationships. Many of the SIOs and Strategic Investigators we work with across the UK will be there, and the conference gives us valuable time to reconnect, understand how our support is landing on the ground, and discuss what more we can do.
Building new relationships. The conference provides a secure and trusted environment to meet SIOs and PIP4 Advisors we haven't yet had the chance to work with, and to introduce them to how IGS Secure can support their investigative workforce.
Learning from the sector. Through operational case studies, practitioner insight and subject matter expert contributions, we get a genuine, ground level view of the pressures facing investigative leadership today, from decision making under pressure to resource prioritisation and maintaining investigative momentum over prolonged enquiries.
What we offer
IGS Secure supports UK policing and law enforcement with interim workforce deployment, bespoke training, professional consultancy and managed services. Events like the SIO Conference help us understand where the gaps are, whether that's covering short term capacity, bringing in specialist investigative skills, or supporting the wider workforce around major investigations, so that we can respond with the right people at the right time.
