Investigo Government Solutions Welcomes Dave Twyford

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Twyford – Strategic Policing Consultant to our growing team.

Dave is a highly respected and recently retired senior officer from UK policing, he brings a wealth of strategic and operational experience, having served as a Superintendent in major command roles. His career highlights include leading over 2,000 officers and staff as part of the senior command team responsible for delivering policing services in one of the UK’s largest cities. Dave's expertise spans critical areas such as intelligence, roads policing, and professional standards. A graduate of the prestigious Police Executive Programme, he holds a Master of Studies (MSt) in Applied Criminology and Police Management from the University of Cambridge. Dave also possesses significant operational command experience, notably as a firearms commander leading the regional response to high-threat incidents.

Dave is currently project lead for an international programme developing operational policing and canine policing capabilities with IGS, successfully assisting the British Overseas Territories and other global territories. His leadership philosophy is built on the Team of Teams model, championing decentralised decision-making, trust, and adaptability to empower individuals and enable high performance in complex, fast-moving environments. Dave’s expertise will be invaluable as we continue to support public sector organisations through continuous improvement programmes
