Dave Twyford

Dave Twyford is a highly respected former senior UK police officer with extensive strategic and operational experience. As a Superintendent, he led more than 2,000 officers and staff delivering policing services across one of the UK’s largest cities. A graduate of the Police Executive Programme and holder of a Master of Studies in Applied Criminology and Police Management from the University of Cambridge, Dave brings deep expertise in intelligence, roads policing, and professional standards.

He now leads international programmes developing operational and canine policing capabilities, supporting British Overseas Territories and global partners. Passionate about empowering teams, Dave applies the Team of Teams philosophy to drive trust, adaptability, and high performance in complex environments.
