Guernsey Police are expanding, and we're excited to offer a number of Constable vacancies for those seeking a positive change. We are looking for experienced constables from both operational and investigative backgrounds, as well as other specialist skills like firearms, CHIS, roads policing and other diverse specialisms.

Our low crime rate allows officers to dedicate the time and true quality that underpins exceptional policing, ensuring you can apply the right energy and attention to every incident.

We're looking for successful PC’s and DC’s to join us as soon as training and fitness has been completed, ready to start in November 2025. Are you ready to undertake vital operational duties across neighbourhood, response policing, and investigations, delivering the very best to our island community.

    Police Constables and Detective Constables play a critical role in the prevention and detection of crime, safeguarding the public and the criminal justice system. Constables work in partnership with colleagues, local communities, and stakeholders in order to promote law and order, reduce the fear of crime, provide reassurance, and build confidence to improve the quality of life within the Bailiwick.

    The role carries legal powers to enable the maintenance of law and order and bears responsibility for making autonomous decisions in accordance with the National Decision Model and Professional Standards, exercising discretion, in line with legal frameworks and policy guidelines.
